You can try reinstalling only the SP, but it not guarantee that you will be
free of system instability...
But if you ask me about the better way to treat it, I will answer to format
it and install all SPs from zero.
If you have a reliable backup system you can try to reinstall the SPs and
leave the workstation working for a while (if it works...), it will give you
time to program the maintenance without stoping the work.
