I can't speak for the company on this and we are not supposed to comment on our specific software and business 'models.' But between you and me and from the perspective of the trenches the trend is to use Pro/E on all new projects and keep Cadds around for modifying and maintaining legacy (old) projects.
Personally I like to use Cadds when I need to do 2d drawing graphics, then I import said graphics into a Pro/E drawing. In my opinion Pro/E's drafting ability is about the same as Cadds 3 and as you well know much improvement was made between Cadds 3 and Cadds 5.

Wow, those are a wee bit more pricey then the testors models I remember as a kid! 🙂 What else do we have out there? I used to use SSM and Piping for plant design, equipment, decks, etc. Thanks, Chris Fuerst App. Eng. - App. Design Hancor Inc. P 607-565-3033 ext 211 F 607-565-2339
