Wildfire 5.0

I purchased WF5.0 and in drawing creation it locks up. PTC has told me that my computer is not supported. I have a dell m6300 with 4GB ram Nvidia Quadro FX 3500 video card, 2.5 GHZ dual core. I think it more than enough to run Pro since it runs 4.0 and had run 2.0. They also said they would not be able to help anymore since they could not recreate the problem. Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction.

John, Have you checked to see if Dell has updated video drivers? I have a Dell Precision workstation 650 that is over 6 years old. It runs 5.0 well except I have had it freeze up a few times in drawing mode. Is the lock ups everytime you go into drawing mode and does it do it every time?

Are you using an old config.pro from 4.0? sometimes this can create lockup problems, try loading with a blank config.pro and see if you have the same problem

Thanks for the reply. Turn off NVIEW and everything works fine...so far.
