file name display

Pro E users,

I have a file name display question.
On the top window bar, the display is: <file name="> (Active) -
Pro/ENGINEER
and on others , the display is: <file name="> Rev: 1.7+ (Active) -
Pro/ENGINEER (this is an ex. the rev. # varies)
What does the " Rev: 1.7+ " mean ?

The "1.7" is revision 1, iteration 7. Every time you check in the model in the current revision, it gets the next iteration number.
The "+" means that the model in your workspace has been changed from the "1.7" model in commonspace.
When you save your changes and check it in, it will become "Rev: 1.8".

Hope this helps,
Arnold

The files with a rev I believe are controlled in Intralink.

In addition, the "iteration" in intralink is called Version. Your
Version goes to 0 when you up tick the Revision.
