Migrate Source code from PVCS to PTC Integrity

We are currently using PVCS and wish to convert to Integrity.Is there a conversion procedure/script between the source code control systems?

Hello Swapna,

there are two approaches I can offer herewith:

1) move the latest Code Set from PVCS (main line) over to Integrity only. Keep PVCS intact for reference purposes only

    When Integrity is estabilshed, archive PVCS data + Software

2) dive into the details of which baseline of PVCS is needed for the migration.

    Extract this and any additional baseline you expect in Integrity and migrate the code baseline by baseline.

    This would allow you that a developer can - in Integrity - run the diff command.

For both approaches we in PTC Consulting have developed import scripts. Talk to your account manager if you need our assistance.

But the no. of files / folders in PVCS is huge . so It is not easy to copy all the contents from PVCS to local workspace and upload into Integrity.

Is there any bridge / communicator available which can take care of this migration activity .
