URL links

Hi Community,

Can we directly give URL link access during Data Input in Integrity rather then copying and paste the URL in Shorttext or in Long Text Field ?

Hi Kapil,

can you explain a bit further what you are trying to accomplish?  You want a web services call to directly edit content or you want a field type that is of type URL?

Thanks for your response... 

Yes we can say of type URL because if we give URL in Attachment (Shared Folder Path rather then adding big size attachment that can affect system performance) then User can directly Jump to that location by clicking that URL..

Something like this functionality is helpful from end user perspective...???

The only option here is a rich text or short text field.  we have no data type of URL for field values..
