Extracting ACL's from a source Windchill system using a custom utility

Hi All,

I wish to extract all the ACL files from the source system to that of csv or an excel file.

Can anyone please share the sample code related to the same where it extracts the ACL's in all the contexts and domains.

You can use the SQL from Re: Tool to export and import ACL from Policy Administrator to export the ACLs and create a loadfile and import it to the target system

I had already seen this post.

Instead of an SQL Query can I expect some kind of utility ? In case can you please share a piece of code so that I can have a better idea.

Hi Binesh,

One PTC employee who's name is Eric in Korea had been created one tool to "Managing ACL with export & import function", also he is very famous a writer of "ERIC_WC10_Customization" guide book.

Ask to PTC employee to get that tool. I remember he is till using his personal e-mail. so you can send to e-mail asking directly.
