Has anyone ever created the need to soft type a work item? Is it even possible? We can soft type it in Type/Attribute Manager. But I'm not sure if we can configure Windchill to use that soft type that was created.
This question has come up because we want to add several attributes to the work item. If we can soft type it, then those additional attributes can be limited to just 1 organization in Windchill. And the other organizations won't be bothered with these extra attributes if they don't want to see them.
The same question has come up regarding Affected data for both the Change Request and the Change Activity. We would like to create several additional attributes, but limit the scope to just 1 organization.
