Unable to update the properties in SLD* files , using the Windchill API' to set attribute on EPM

We are currently checking the possibility to create a interface from SAP to Windchill, While we are able to get the required attribute values from SAP and set it on EPM Documents , but these attributes values create a different entries in SLD* file properties using windchill attribute internal names

I understand as per this article that this is expected behavior as we have explicit mapping for Designated Parameters. Is there a way to rectify this?

Hi,

I would seriously reconsider your architecture. You should have clearer distinction between the engineering design and the Supply Chain information. In my opinion, SAP data should not drive EPM documents!

Are you using WTParts? EPM should be geometry-driven. Additional attributes that aren't geometry-dependent are better managed on the WTPart. WTParts also let you manipulate the BOM structure for items that don't need to be represented in the 3D models.

From there, consider the Supplier Management module if you want visibility in Windchill to the Supplier info.
