So I am trying to set up Log Rotation for the access.log file with Apache. I am by no means an Apache or web server admin of any type... so not really sure what I'm looking at.
I got the log rotation to take action by adding this line to the httpd.conf file:
CustomLog "|bin/rotatelogs.exe -l D:/ptc/Windchill_11.0/HTTPServer/logs/access.%Y.%m.%d.log 86400" common
This has resulted in the creation of the daily access log file like I wanted, but it is also still creating the single access.log file. See picture attached...
How do I get it to stop creating the access.log file and only use the daily rotation log?
