Is there a way in Windchill 9.1 PDMlink or Intralink to have the workspace update "out of date" objects automatically?
Instead of the user have to always scan through the update objects manually. Also another situation is when the workspace decides that an object is new for some reason even though it already exists in the database and then you have to update to fix the name conflict error.
Seem to me that automatic workspace update would be a good option if it doesn't already exist.
Note - We've found it very helpful to create workspace views that filter for only objects that are out of date and / or sort for that status to come to the top of the listing, then train users to frequently check with these views.
