Best practices for creating Domain Policy

hello

Do you know any documentation which shows and explains best practices in creating domain policy or maybe just from your experience

Should a Domain represent a the access permission of a folder. This gives more flexibility if the usage of that folder changes (as only one domain can be applied per folder)

Should the same access permission for different folder be created in a Domain and this domain applied to those folders ?

I find the usage of Domain, user group and Team (with the roles) quite confusing and contradictoring.

Any light welcome !!!

Thank you very much

Generally domains are created at a container/context level which are generally either Product/Project for a PDM Implmentation.

You define access controls at the Product/Project level ,if you have any specific requirements to restrict any contents or give special permissions for a sub folder then you create a sub domain under the parent(Product/Project )domain and associate the sub domain to the sub folder.

you can refer to BusAdmin guide for more information on how to control the accesses.

Hope this helps.
