Changing System Attribute Names

In Intralink 9.0 I was looking under site preferences, under the
Windchill Workgroup Manager/Client section and I found several of the
Intralink system wide attributes. Has anyone ever changed these from
their default values?

Of greatest interest to me was "Revision System Attribute" with a value
set to "PTC_WM_REVISION".

Here is what the help says about this attribute:
"Identifies the name of the property in the CAD tool that shows
the CAD Document's Revision. The value may be set to a CAD System
Attribute. The default value is PTC_WM_REVISION."

All of my current CAD files that I need to bring into Intralink have a
parameter "REV" that contains the revision letter.

If I change the value from "PTC_WM_REVISION" to "REV" will that then
read the "REV" parameter value from the CAD files and use it as the
Intralink system attribute? It also lists various client applications,
such as Pro/E, Windchill, Catia, Solidworks, etc. Any idea which would
I want to set it for?

Please let me know if you have ever tried changing system attribute
names.

Thanks!
