We have migrated to 9.1 M030 few weeks back. Everything is good except for some client side freeze-ups and disabled buttons in the wizards which are happening randomly with the users. This randomness is making the key stakeholders unhappy giving them the impression that the application is not stable. This randomness also makes it harder to reproduce during a WebEx session with PTC Technical Support. Following are couple of issues we have seen.
My question to you all is, have you observed these kinds of issues? If so, do you have any workarounds or changes to the browser settings that might help reduce these issues?
1. You click something and nothing happens, you click it again (or go away and come back and then it works). For example: enter search criteria, click search, system starts processing but never returns results. Click on search again, and it returns data almost instantly. Another example: You go to a CR overview page. Click on History Menu and then Routing/Process. Then on one of the processes, click on the actions menu. Nothing happens (no drop down appears). Go back home (or to another part of CR overview), then go back to History - Routing/Process and then it works normally. One more ... click General/Attributes did not display the attributes and content, but when they clicked on More Attributes, it displayed right away. 2. Finish button goes grey (disabled) on create/edit CR/Document occasionally. You cannot click finish to complete the task. If you go back to the first tab, the finish button becomes enabled again and you can complete the task
