Questions:
1. Do your MCAD Users Create and/or Edit (i.e. prepare ECNs) in Project Link?
2. If your answer to #1 is Yes, is that MCAD User responsible for checking out the file to the Project (and then his Workspace)? or do you have a separate personnel responsible for checking out the file to the Project where the MCAD user can access it?
3. Again, ifyou answered yest to #1 - What is your companies best practice for performing the SAVE AS command?
Thank you in advance for any advise here. I am an MCAD User and we very recently moved all MCAD Users to Project Link to perform their daily tasks. However we have the dual step of Check Out to Project and then Check Out to Workspace inorder to modify parts. Furthermore the concern that you can't "Save As" in Project Link Workspaces like you can in Product Workspaces is causing grief.
Note, we are using Windchill 9.1
