Does anyone use visualization (Creo View) to display source content of XML files?

We are using Windchill 10.1. There are mini thumbnails beside each xml object in the folder. When I mouse over most of the thumbnails, the visualization window is launched and the source content of the xml is displayed.

The problem is, there are some xml files that are not displayed within the visualization window. The CREO View image appears.

Unfortunately, most of the visualization forum posts pertain to CAD documents. Nothing regarding XML.

If anyone out there is using visualization to view XML objects, do you know why the CREO View image is displayed rather than the XML source content?

If you save the representation to disk does it include a thumbnail image in the zip file for these ones where the thumbnail image doesn't display?

For anyone that might be following this thread...PTC is looking into the issue. At this point, however, it doesn't look like they know the cause or have a solution.
