Hi i have a question about windchill pdmlink lyfecycle

hi i'm SeonHo

I just started Windchill
I was curious as I was looking at some of Windrill's roles.
It's about the life cycle of Windchill.
Proceed with a promotion request to use the lifecycle
However, a new promotion request will not be processed after the approver has clicked reject.
Is the promotion request simply a one-time call?
If the request is rejected, should the authorized manager ask again?
As a member, why is not my request?
Also, how do changes in status immediately after requesting a promotion occur?
I am curious to know how to define conversion or state definitions in detail.
Do you have an example or tutorial from the beginning to the completion stage using the life cycle?
Please let me know
I need a file to understand life cycle

Thank you

Let me try to answer some of your questions.

When you have finished a part and checked it in to PDMLink, it is at the Design lifecycle state.

You then fire off a promotion request workflow, which will notify the reviewers of the request and change the lifecycle state to Under Review.

If the reviewers approve the promotion, the lifecycle will change to Released and the workflow stops.

If the reviewers reject the promotion, the lifecycle will revert back to Design, a notice is sent to the promotion requestor telling them it was rejected and the workflow stops.

A new promotion request must be submitted after the corrections have been made.

PTC website has some better explainations if you look.
