Installing Windchill in Windows 10 os

Hello,

 

Is installing Windchill 11.2 supports Windows 10 os possible?

Yes, Windows 10 is supported for Windchill 11.2, but only as a test system, not  for production. Production Windchill systems need to be a Server version of Windows. PTC also recommends that your test and production systems be on the same OS in case there are any issues.

It is only supported for Development and Test Systems Support

But when I do install Windchill in my windows 10, It is taking Product install dir is \opt\ptc\Windchill_11.0.  which is a Unix system folder.

The exact installation log attached below.

 

How to run with actual folder where it is available?

Did you extract the files from the ZIP download first?

Did you run Setup from the PTC Solution Installer folder?

Are you running directly from a DVD?

 

From the log file, it looks like you navigated deeper into the install scripts than you needed to and did it from the zipped file.
