Is there a way to set the model parameters without having to define the same paramenters in each independent RBD?

Is there a way to set the model parameters without having to define the same parameters in each independent RBD?  For example I want to run availability, can I set the model up at a high level, or do I need to go into each and every RBD to define that I want availability to be calculated?
