Hello,

You are encountering issues with creating unstructured XML indexes in your OCI (Oracle Call Interface) autonomous serverless database while using PDM v12.1. Here are some insights and potential solutions:

Compatibility:
OCI Autonomous Serverless Database: Generally, OCI autonomous databases are designed to be highly compatible with various applications and use cases. However, specific compatibility with PDM v12.1 might require certain configurations or updates.
Error: Oracle Fatal Error - Unstructured Index XML
Unstructured XML Indexes: Oracle has deprecated unstructured XML indexes in favor of XML search indexes in newer versions2. This might be causing the issues you’re facing.
Solution: Oracle recommends recreating unstructured XML indexes as XML search indexes. This can improve compatibility and performance2.
Steps to Resolve:
Update Indexing Approach:
Transition from unstructured XML indexes to XML search indexes. This involves updating your indexing strategy to align with Oracle’s current recommendations.
Check Documentation:
Refer to the Oracle Help Center for detailed guidance on creating and managing XML search indexes

I hope this info helpful to you.

Does the PTC support matrix mention this version of Oracle?  If not, then you do not get PTC support.
