OS and Oracle version switch using datapump

Hello All,

We plan to move WC R9.1 M040, Oracle Apps 10GR2 from Windows 2008 platform to Redhat Linux. Oracle documentation claims that datapump can be used to move the dump file from 10GR2 Windows environment directly to 11GR2 Red hat environment. Did anyone follow this path. Thanks in advance for sharing your experience/thoughts.
