Good morning,
Let's consider
Assembly -.1 = Part A -.1 + Part B -.1
Assembly -.2 = Part A -.2 + Part B -.2
If we want to load an old version of the assembly (-.1), ProE opens :
Assembly -.1 = Part A -.1 + Part B -.1.
We save the assembly in -.3 (in order to erase modifications made in -.2). If we open assembly -.3, we have :
Assembly -.3 = Part A -.2 + Part B -.2
Is there a way to overwrite also parts A and B into -.3 ?
hi
generally, you modify the components, the assembly do not have new revision if you set the option save_objects to changed as defaut to avoid the unwanted revision increasing.to achieve your goal, you open the part with the revision you want first, and then open the assembly , you get the required assembly and then set the option save_objects to all , which means every component and the assembly have a new revision , next time you open the assmebly, the new one opened parta_prt_1, the one you want.
hope this will help you someway.
Seems to be an interesting solution !
Thanks
