PTC continues to enhance the On-Demand System Scan for windchill. After having added detections for Visualizations and CAD Interactions (CAD Workgroup Managers) in 2019, Windchill Diagnostic Utility (WinDU) is now supported.
Whether for regular maintenance tasks, or in the context of an upgrade, use the On-Demand System Scan for WinDU in order to detect known issues from your WinDU execution outputs and get recommendations for your system.
Similarly, before opening a case on the WinDU area, an execution of a scan can provide you with immediate remedies.
Note that although WinDU is part of the PTC Windchill product, for correct analysis of WinDU files for Upgrade and periodic maintenance related issues the 'WinDU' product must be selected.
As a more general reminder, the On-Demand System Scan service allows system administrators to manually scan their system files for similar recommended improvements on an ad hoc basis. Admins can upload system files to be scanned and receive recommended actions for any known issues or improvements that are detected.
