PDMLink - Reassign Change Notice

While I'm waiting for PTC Tech Support to call me back...

We are using PDMlink 9.1 M020 and we are using the Change Notice module

Once a user has created a Change Notice, is it possible to reassign it
to another user?

A user has gone on vacation, his manager sent a Change Notice he
submitted for Rework.

We need a different user to update and resubmit.

I can't seem to figure out how to do that.

Can it be done?

Or do I delete the change notice and have user B create a new one?

We do this every day - by editing the Change Notice / Change Task team(s).

Or from the assignments link in the Product, there should be a reassign
action.

Reassign is best if only context manager / admin needs to do this. If you others to be able to do so, editing the team allows. Need to give those users Modify permission to the Team object. Downside of this is that they can edit all teams at all times.

Each has pro's and con's.

Thanks! For some reason, I didn't think that the CN's showed up in the
assignments.

Michelle,

Check going into the Product or the Context Assignments in which the CN
is created.

Also, check the Current View is set to Open. You can then check next to
the task and click Reassign.

As a future thing, you may want to train your users on how to use the
Calendar Delegation function inside Windchill.

Regards,
Rekha.
