I didn't get a lot of feedback, but did have several people interested in a summary of the responses.
Alcon has a lot of methods and data - both using PTC's standard data set and others - you would have to contact them directly if interested
This might work for you. There is a software specifically for testing websites. The name is BadBoy, (could of used a better name, IMHO), but I have been using it for about a year to test response time on our Windchill 8.0 servers.
Basically you record a script that it will then play automatically and I export the times to EXCEL for further analysis.
