Pro/I 3.4 M040 on 64 bit XP or 2003 server

All,

Is anyone running Pro/Intralink Dataserver & Fileserver on Windows XP 64 bit and/or Server 2003 64 bit? I'm especially interested in XP64 as I have a need to install it soon. I'm also trying to install Pro/I 3.4 M040 DS & FS on a XP32 bit machine, but I'm running into issues with getting the Oracle 9.2.0.7.0 patches installed. Oracle wants me to shut down about 25+ services in order to continue the install. Some of the services I cannot shut down without disabling them and rebooting which I don't want to do.

I have successfully installed Intralink 3.4 M012, M050, and M070 builds on Win2003 Server, so M040 should be OK. Our current production environment is M070

Dan,

Make sure you are logged in as a local user who is in the Administrators group. Additionally, if you are using RDC you need to use the /console on the command.

eg. mstsc /console
