Query Builder Reports

I was looking for information to help build a Query Builder report where a Product Number is given and a report of all WTParts within that Product is generated. Anyone have such a report or details for which tables need to be used and joined?

Also, would everyone that has a Query Builder report be interested in submitting for others to reference?

Query Builder Reports

James,

If you mean "Product" as a Context, then you might be able to use
Context="Product Name" or join WTParts to Context and set Context name to
"Product Name." I do that for documents in project link, so it might work
for parts in pdmlink.

But if you mean "Product" as a top level item in a bill of material that
has a special designation as a "product" rather than some other part, then
Query Builder isn't going to be as as useful as other BOM-related tools,
like the BOM report, or using baselines, or the multi-level where used
report, etc.

James,
The attached report can be used for either WTPart structure of WTProduct structure. I currently have the following being selected:

Part/Product Number|Part/Product Name|Part/Product Version|Part/Product Iteration|Line Number|Used Part Number|Used Part Name|Used Part Quantity|Used Part Unit|Used Part State|Used Part Context

You should be able to import this .qml into query builder and make any necessary changes.

Hope this helps,
