Hello all, We are using subscriptions on a folder for file creation and checkins . Subscriptions are working only if I create/checkin an object in the root folder. If I create the object in any subfolder, subscriptions are not working. Do I need to create subscription on all the subfolders ? This seems very tedious if I am setting up same subscription on all of them. I am wondering if I can setup the subscription recursively on all subfolders. I am wondering if anyone has written programmatic way of subscriptions?
I was looking up the same issue today and at Windchill 11.1, there is still no subscription to a folder hierarchy. Subscriptions can only monitor the contents of the selected folder. So yes, you have to create and manage multiple subscriptions.
