I'm searching for some advice on how to relate manufacturing tools to parts. Do you create a relation between a fixture and a finished casting? What kind of relation, do you use the product structure, or do you rely on workplans/routings? Or is there even another approach?
The same is true for rough castings vs. fixtures, cores vs. coreboxes, coreboxes vs. rough castings, milling tools and finished parts, etc.
In case you use product structures, who is the parent, and who is the child?
