I will potentially need to align our system to a SAP integration. The first conflict that arises is out Part/Doc names and numbers. We have different length limits and would like to strict certain characters that cause report writer and DBAs ulcers. Reading the customer's guide, it looks like I want to write a post-submit validator. Am I on the right track? I am expecting that it would throw nicely worded popups to the user indicating the error of their ways.
