User Mapping File

Migrating from Intralink 3.4 to Windchill\Intralink 10.0

Here is small example only changing one user:

During the process I edit the "usermap.properties" file changing:

raltman=raltman TO raltman=Robert Altman

After "Reconcile USER data" is launched a file is created à "users.csv" (shown below) where you can modify additional info before uploading the data. I would assume that the "fullName" could be changed to "Robert Altman"? Or does it have to stay for mapping purposes?

Regards,

See tpi 133525 for the format of the csv file:

Has anyone every had issues with "spaces" in the username? The TPI example shows using an underbar separating the name, probably a leftover from the UNIX days?

Robert,

Spaces are not a problem between the csv separators.
