If we want to reference an assembly so that drawing creation is representative then is it better to add the assembly to our drawing structure within Creo and then once loaded remove the WTPart from the product structure so the Uses table / BoM is not populated …OR… tell the Creo users to create a Skeleton? Why?
Situation: WC 10.1 M40 Creo 2.0 weld assembly in Context A needs a drawing but needs to show vehicle assembly located in Context B. Modeler is not a fan of Skeletons (not sure why)and I have viewed the presentation from Steve Shaw June 2011 “Best Practices for Working with CAD and Product Structures” which hints that WTPart removal is the best approach.
