As I was informed by our VAR, automatic migration from Intralink 3.4 to Windchill PDM Essentials is not possible, as Intralink runs on Oracle database and Windchill PDM Essentials requires SQL database and the two are not "migratable". The only way to migrate data, according to our VAR,from Intralink to Windchill PDM Essentials would be manual export from Intralink to disk and then manual import from disk to Windchill. Alternatively, one could also selectively open objects in Pro/E or Creo from disk and then save them to workspace.
