When trying to register the productpoint server in ProENGINEER the error "Windchill ProductPoint Client Manager is not running" appears, but the client manager is up and running correctly. Any thoughts on what might be happening?
Hi, I had the same problem. I use the ClientMAnager from Rel 1.0 and now I use WPP Rel. 1.1. I have deinstalled the "old" ClientManager and installed the new from WPP_Server:Port\downloads. Now it worked. Regards
I'm on a 64bit machine. - Server 2003 OS 64bit WPP Server - Host Vista 64bit Try to deinstall the ClientManager again and install them again? Not update the existing installation. Regards
I have this issue when updating WPP. What worked for me was deleting the WPP cache folder in c:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\PTC\ProductPointService\ Close ProE first. You will see the name of your WPP server. Then just delete the folder andrestart PROE
