At my company we do a lot of collaborative design with suppliers and partners using Project Link. Unfortunately, the way that Windchill handles object names in the projects has caused us some issues. Project Link allows our partners to import files with a name that already exists in a Product or Library into the Project. Once this happens it can be difficult to replace the duplicate named object with the version that exists in PDMLink. Ideally, I would like the same type of functionality that is available in a workspace to replace a duplicate name. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to address this issue?
