We need some help. We recently switched from Intralink 3.4 to PDM Link 9.0 and things are not working with our companies print release procedures. My company would allow users to view drawing files based on the Release level of the latest revision and version. If the file was not Released people could not see the files. We found that in PDM Link if we tried this same approach a user may get the latest version (B), latestiteration (.3)and latest state of Released. The problem is that the actual latest version (F), actual latest iteration (.2) and the actual latest state was Pending Change. We have been told that this is how PDM link is supposed to work. I cannot believe that a company would want to release an object that is 4 revisions old just because the system found it as the latest version, iteration, and at the state of Released.
