automatic re-checkout

When doing a "check in" from your workspace (or directly from Pro/E), is
it possible to have the part automatically "re-checkout" to yourself
again, so that you can immediately continue making changes?

In PDMLink 9.1 M050 when checking in from the workspace you can do this.
In the first window that comes up after selecting check in simply select
the object(s) and then "Edit | Keep Checked Out"

During the "Check In" there is an option under "Edit" --> "Keep Checked
Out"

You will need to put check mark in the box of items that you want to apply
this to.
