The note editor should have the function available that lets the user choose and insert at the cursor location a parameter that exists somewhere in the model; more precisely, it should insert the necessary code that would result in that parameter's value being shown in the rendered note (e.g., &LENGTH:FID_33). The "Insert Parameter Name from List" function in the relations editor already exists and does a pretty good job at retrieving the parameter's name (e.g., LENGTH:FID_33).
I propose that similar function should be made available in the note editor (but this one would add the & symbol) :
This idea could be extended to guide a user who is editing a note that has a leader - there should be an easy way to generate the codes for values of parameters that belong to the entity to which the leader is attached (i.e., &Param_name:att_cmp, ¶m_name:att_feat, etc...)
