When defining symbol as templates user can select sketches containing symbols (e.g. GDT, surface, welding symbols).
These symbols lose their functionality, user can only define texts from the symbol as parameters but dont have full control about the original options of the contained symbol.
Defining the sketch as sketch template also does not keep the original symbol.
It would be better to keep original properties (functionality) of the contained symbols and later edit them using the edit symbol properties dialog.
