Assembly Anomaly with components

Experiencing something very odd.  I have an assy with several components.  I placed the components and fix them, but as soon as I pull the drawing up they go back to their previous orientation. I repeat the process again, re-assemble them in the right orientation, fix them again save, pull the drawing and again the components go back to the old orientation.  Anyone else seen this? This drawing and model have been checked in Windchill, what I mean they are not new parts.  They've been touched by other users.

Hoping someone has a work around or a fix.

Thanks

It sounds like a out of phase version issue to me. A few things to check.

1. By any chance do you have an older version drawing/assembly in session?

2. Do you have an older version of the drawing/assembly in your workspace?

3. Do you have a Search Path in the Config that is pulling an old drawing/assembly into session?

If you've changed the "orientation" or "explode" of an assembly, it doesn't automatically update the drawing views. You might need to re-select the saved view orientation and explode status for the views. I've gotten into the habit, with assemblies, of explicitly defining a view orientation and explode within the View Management.

Defining a specific explode status has the added benefit that it starts off with everything non-exploded so you can just move the items of interest around.
