Auto Place Regen

We're having an internal discussion regarding the use of Auto Place for assembly components... has anyone noticed longer assembly regen times due to Auto Place?

I will tell you - in a large assembly it is unacceptable to wait for the
system to set itself up to place a screw. Maybe there are setting to
alleviate this?

Auto Place is also killing me with my big assemblies.

I've turned off every config.pro option I could find but it still tries
to Auto Place.

Every time I add another component I have to wait several seconds.

How do I make it stop?
