BASIC QUESTION: how to extend the dimension line horizontaly (verticaly)
Hi,
How can I extend the dimension line horizontaly/verticaly
In my picture, as you can see, it is to short and i would like to extend it to the left.

Select dimension itself and drag it.

There is no way to control that aspect of a single dimension.
I think the drawing setup option is dim_text_gap
That will change all dimensions in this particular drawing.

As llie says, you can move the dimension and the length of that line with increase.
The "gap" is a setup option, there is always a consistent gap between the dimension and the dimension leader line.
You placed the dimension text so close to the arrow that the gap puts the end of the leader line inside of the arrow.
