Breaking a circular centerline.

Breaking a circular centerline.

Question:  How do you break a circular centerline?

I have an array of holes in a circular pattern.

Their centerline appears in a circular pattern.

I need to show only a partial arc instead of a complete circular centerline.

What's the trick to do this?

Thanks,

Sergio

You're going to have to sketch a fake arc and the radial centerlines lines.

The only time it trims automatically is when you use a partial or detailed view where the view boundary clips the circle.

This uses an overlay view.  The partial view holds the partial bolt pattern centerline, and the full view is aligned using the view origin.

You need to define an origin feature for the view so you can easily overlay them accurately.

This is Pro}WorkAround^TM #5,937,194  ...if you're keeping track

Make a geometric line circle, divide it as you whant and togle the segments to construction.
