Does anyone have some best practices, ideas of how we might leverage a skeleton methodology to drive out skeletons in our electronic equipment design?
We are considering making a skeleton at the top level that is simply "flexible" curves, constrained at the ends in connectors. The idea it that when the connector move, the curves will update, and therefore the cylindrical extrusions along the curves will update (cables), We are just getting going in defining this methodology. The first thing I can foresee is that the curves need to also be controlled in along their length so we can route them and they behave, bend, and don't fail appropriately.
We do have Cabling and RSD, but feel there is a lot of overhead with some of these packages and it would be time prohibitive in our dynamic environment to be spending that much time setting things up for one off designs.
