Converting a large .asm to stl for a FDM machine....

Good morning,

I am trying to scale a large assembly of one of our drills
for planting to a workable .stl model that I can get into my FDM software so
I can print it out. I am having a lot of trouble with trying to scale the
assembly and convert it to a workable stl model. Does anybody here on this
board know of a way that this can be done? I tried shrinkwrap but no luck. I
just need a way to get the whole assembly scaled down and then an outside
surface around the whole drill so that I can create the .stl for the FDM
software. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try to export the whole assembly to one-file STEP/IGES/PARASOLID FILE, and
then try to import that inside Pro/E, Scale it, and then save it to STL.
