Creo Tolerance Standards, Tolerance Tables, and GD&T Syntax Checking

I was wondering if anyone else is running into the same issue we are with model tolerance standards, tolerance tables, and GD&T syntax checking.  We design our parts in metric and follow the Y14.5-2009 standard.  We also use tolerance table similar to the ISO tolerance tables to define our default tolerances, for example a length dimension from 0.5 to 6 has a default tolerance of +/- 0.1 and a length dimension from 6 to 30 has a default tolerance of +/- 0.2.  Because we use tolerance tables as described and the Y14.5-2009 standard does not allow trailing zero we set the tolerance standard in or models to ISO.  If we were to set our models to ANSI we would need to use trailing zeros to define tolerances using significant digits.  This has worked fine for us in the past but now that Creo 4 has GD&T callout syntax checking and the checking is done according to the tolerance standard of the part we have problems.  If a callout is correct to ASME standards but incorrect according to ISO standards Creo 4 flags it as having an issue, red squiggly underline, and if a callout is incorrect according to the ASME standard but correct according to the ISO standard it is not flagged as having an issue.

 

We have looked into changing the tolerance standard of our parts but that will also change the default tolerance of all our dimensions.  If anyone else has run into this same issue I would be interested in hearing what you have done to move forward with Creo 4 or what changes you plan to make.
