| Cause |
No system parameter exists to show the feature name in a parametric note. |
| Resolution |
- Not part of Creo Parametric functionality
- To request this functionality, refer to Product Ideas @ PTC Community
- Workaround, use one of the following :
- Develop a Pro/TOOLKIT extension
- User has to create a feature parameter first, using Tools > Parameters look in > Feature and select the feature in model tree and give the parameter name you want (hole i.e), then use the syntax ¶meter_name:fid_XXX (with XXX is the feature ID).
