For those companies that have implemented Windchill and WTParts to represent BOMS it would be beneficial to engineers working in Creo to have "linked" access to WTPart information to be placed on a drawing for example. A repeat region of a family table can only access parameters that exist within the 3D part file. Use cases exist where information on the "owned" WTPart need to be in the family table as well.
To increase the complexity a bit... When a company implements WTParts in downstream views through the use of MPMLink, the view of the WTPart must now be taken into account to get access to the correct parameters for the desired downstream WTPart.
