I have created a solid by revolving a section. When I output/export a step file, and import it into FeatureCam, the cutterpath generated is "point-to-point", not a centerpoint/radius. This results in the machined circular profile being created by straight line segments instead of a nice, smooth circular arc.
I've checked accuracies, shading quality, edge display quality, etc.
When I create the cutterpath in Creo Manufacturing, it outputs the cutterpath fine. Unfortunately, the machine shop doesn't support Creo.
Please help!
