Has anyone figured out how to show cosmetic text in a rendering?

I have a plastic cover with cosmetic text on an assembly and all renderings I have attempted with Creo 3.0 M130 and Creo 4.0 M010 the cosmetic text disappears. Opened a call with PTC and was told curves will not appear in renderings. Any help on this is appreciated.
